1964, Entered United States Air Force. 4-year enlistment. Trained in Industrial refrigeration.

1968, Entered pipefitters apprenticeship school in Denver Colorado. Spent the remaining pipe fitter carrier as a factory representative for Carrier Corp, The Train Company, and York Corporation as a field technician, troubleshooting and servicing Industrial refrigeration systems. Retired from the Denver Pipe Fitters in 1988.

1988 to 1991. Owned and operated Industrial Chiller Services, Inc., renting portable refrigeration systems. Sold the company to Aggreko Corporation Inc. 1991.

1992 Developed a refrigerant recovery and reclamation process and formed Refrigerant Management Services, Inc. 1994, Sold the company and patent in 1998.

1998, Opened and incorporated Coastal Pile Cutters, LLC., Providing pile cutting services to the Heavy Highway Construction market. 2016, Sold patent and company assets to Padgett Shoreline Construction, LLC.

2004 Developed a design and prototype for cutting concrete pilings designed to service the pile cutting demolition market.

2006 Filed a US patent pending application claiming certain features that would be considered a new means and method for cutting concrete pilings when removing Bridges, Docks, and piers.

2007 Was awarded a United States Patent 7243646. Owned and Operated Coastal Pile Cutters, LLC until 2016.

2016 Sold the assets and the US patent to Padgett Shoreline Construction in Bacliff, Texas USA, and was hired as the Operations Manager to oversee the pile cutting division formed under the new name Coastal Pile Cutters International, LLC.
