The 36‑inch pile cutter from Shear Power Tool is a heavy‑duty hydraulic solution built to deliver fast, precise, and safe cuts through reinforced concrete and steel piles, making it ideal for bridge, dock, pier, and offshore demolition projects. The hydraulic shearing tool is a three-function hydraulic shearer designed to cut pipe and reinforced concrete piling with the appropriate jigs, if required. The three functions are lock, open and close (gate), open and close (blade), advance and retract.
The shear has three 10-inch ID hydraulic cylinders capable of exerting a maximum working force of 1 million pounds of force at a maximum working pressure of 5000 PSI. The cylinders have subsea seals rated at a depth of 1000 feet. The hydraulic cylinder uses biodegradable oil (Chevron Clarity 4) or equivalent.
The cutting blade is designed with a blade using a center point design to initially penetrate the pipe or concrete piling, as well as complete the cut at the end of the stroke. The shear is capable of cutting reinforced concrete piling from 18 inch to 36 inch.
The hydraulic power pack provided has a 150 horsepower Tier 4 diesel engine driving a pressure-compensating hydraulic oil pump.
The GPM flow rate of the three-function valve assembly is 60 GPM for the blade and 25 GPM for both the gate and lock.
